Welcome to Hillside, our main service is the Lobley Hill worship centre (All Saints). Worship is lively and informal with music from our Praise Band.

Our worship on a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sunday of the month begins at 10.15am.

The first part (approx 20 mins) is an all age service which includes songs, puppets/drama before the children go over the hall for their own time together which is led by our Super Sunday Team. We continue with worship and praising God.

During the second part of our service parents who are concerned that their young children are restless can feel free to use our crèche which has a video link to the service. We also have baby changing facilities.

On the on the 2nd and 4th Sunday, we have Holy Communion and on the 3rd and 5th Sunday we have Morning Worship.

On the 1st Sunday of the month we have Café Church, this is held in St Cuthbert’s, Marley Hill - the church is set out with table and chairs and we serve breakfast to everyone followed by music, puppets, drama presentations and informal chat.

St Cuthbert’s on the 2nd and 4th Sunday there is Evening Worship 6pm at St Cuthbert’s and the 3rd Sunday there is a 6pm Holy Communion service.

NB: There is NO morning service held at All Saints, Lobley Hill on the first Sunday of the month.

Tea and Coffee is served after the morning service on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays at All Saints.

Small Groups

Small Groups meeting together in various locations during the week, for fellowship, prayer, ministry and learning together. They are also an important part of our care structure.

The Alpha Course

The Alpha Course is a 10 week introduction to the Christian Faith and is ideal for those new to our life and for those wanting to know more about what it means to be a Christian. It is an ideal way to ‘get started’ at Hillside. Alpha runs twice each year on either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings – normally at St Cuthbert’s.

Prayer

Prayer is a vital part of the life of Hillside.

Children at Hillside

The All Saints Worship Centre for Hillside Church is very much an ‘all age’ church family.

Children are important to our life – they are not ‘the church of tomorrow’ but very much part of the ‘church of today’

The children stay with us for the first part of the service (see above for details of this service), and then go across to the hall for their own time together called Super Sunday.

We cater for two age groups, 3-8 and 8-11.

Parents/carers who are concerned that their younger children are restless during the service, there is a crèche upstairs for the under 3’s, with a video link to the main service.
