All Saints Lobley Hill
St Cuthbert's Marley Hill
Welcome to Hillside, our main service is the Lobley Hill worship centre (All Saints). Worship is lively and informal with music from our Praise Band. The worship on a Sunday morning begins at 10.10am. The first part (approx 20 mins) is an all age service which includes songs, puppets/drama before the children go over the hall for their own time together which is led by our Super Sunday Team. We continue with worship and praising God. On the 1st and 3rd Sunday we have Holy Communion and on the 2nd , 4th and 5th Sunday, we have Morning Worship. Tea and Coffee is served after the service.
During the second part of our service parents who are concerned that their young children are restless can feel free to use our crčche which has a video link to the service. We also have baby changing facilities.
At our Marley Hill centre (St Cuthbert’s) on the 1st Sunday of each month at 5pm we have FIRST SUNDAY. This has special appeal to families and those looking for a lively informal service. There is a band, puppets, drama etc.
On the 3rd Sunday of each month at 5pm we have 3@5 which again has special appeal to families includes singing, craft activities, bible stories, and finishes by sharing something to eat together.
On the 2nd and 4th Sunday there is a 6pm Holy Communion service at St Cuthbert’s –.
Small Groups
Small Groups meeting together in various locations during the week, for fellowship, prayer, ministry and learning together. They are also an important part of our care structure.The Alpha Course
The Alpha Course is a 10 week introduction to the Christian Faith and is ideal for those new to our life and for those wanting to know more about what it means to be a Christian. It is an ideal way to ‘get started’ at Hillside. Alpha runs twice each year on either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings – normally at St Cuthbert’s.Prayer
Prayer is a vital part of the life of Hillside.- We have a prayer room.
- On a Sunday we have an Intercession Rota.
- We have a prayer phone line for those who need immediate prayer.
- Discipleship groups pray together weekly.
- Special prayer events held in Marley Hill and Lobley Hill
- For the early to rise there is the Saturday morning meeting at 7.30am.
Children at Hillside
The All Saints Worship Centre for Hillside Church is very much an ‘all age’ church family.Children are important to our life – they are not ‘the church of tomorrow’ but very much part of the ‘church of today’
As soon as we finish our 1st deck (see above for details of this service), our children go across to the hall for their own time together called Super Sunday.
During the 2nd deck, for Parents/carers who are concerned that their younger children are restless during the service, there is a crčche upstairs for the under 3’s, with a video link to the main service.
