Welcome to All Saints Pre-School
All Saints Pre-school has been an established Playgroup since 1984. We gained nursery status in 2001 and became a Pre school. The Pre School was inspected by OFSTED on February 5th 2004
Facilities
Places are available for children who have reached their 3rd birthday. For those who are 3 at the beginning of a term places are 'free' (paid by government grant). We have a limited number of places for children aged 2½ (depending on availability). The cost for those who are not 3 is £5.00 per session.
All Saints Church Hall provides one of the best and safest environments where children can learn through play. The main hall is open plan, bright and attractive with areas divided for creative, constructive and imaginative play. Outside we have a large grassed area sealed off where children can practice physical skills and explore nature through a range of activities designed to develop children to their highest potential.
Curriculum
We believe that every child is unique. We aim to provide a curriculum based on play that is holistic in its approach and contributes to the all round growth and development of each child within a secure, caring environment that encourages spiritual, emotional and moral development
although we are a church based group and Christian values underpin all our activities we welcome children regardless of religious affiliation and respect festivals celebrated by other religious bodies. We introduce the children to a mixture of rhymes and action songs with a Christian theme and end each session with a prayer.
Staff
Pre School staff receive regular training and have been Enhanced C.R.B. cleared
Session Times are
Monday to Friday 9.15am till 11.45am during term time.
We are registered for 24 children and operate a waiting list. Children aged 3+ are funded by Gateshead MBC starting at the beginning of the term following their 3rd birthday. It is the Pre-schools policy to give priority to funded 3 year olds although there may be limited places for 2½ year olds. Every effort is made to accommodate parental preference for full or part weekly sessions.
Cost per session if not funded is £5 per session due one week in advance.

Every Friday 1pm—3pm during school term time
held in All Saints Church Hall
Cost £2 for one child,
(£1 for other siblings)
Bring the little ones and come for a cup of coffee/tea and a friendly chat in a relaxed atmosphere and watch the children play. Plenty of toys, coffee, tea, biscuits, juice.
