Who's Who at Hillside
Bob Hopper is vicar of Hillside. His main areas of responsibility are Preaching, leading worship, and the pastoral care of ‘the Parish’ (Byermoor, Marley Hill, Sunniside, Streetgate, Lobley Hill, Festival, & Rosewood Park). He also travels regularly to support our links in other parts of the World.
Pat Hardy is training to work within Hillside as an “Ordained Local Minister”. Pat is a cell pastor and is responsible for our ministry team and for prayer.
John Sheppy & Maggie Bolton are our Churchwardens.
They are responsible for the care and upkeep of our buildings and plant, for the ‘floor management’ during services, and are an important part of our care team. They also represent Hillside within the wider church.
We are an official ‘Shared Ministry Parish’ – and we are committed to every member ministry.
