Who's Who at Hillside
Bob Hopper is vicar of Hillside. His main areas of responsibility are Preaching, leading worship, and the pastoral care of ‘the Parish’ (Byermoor, Marley Hill, Sunniside, Streetgate, Lobley Hill, Festival, & Rosewood Park). He also travels regularly to support our links in other parts of the World.
Dorothy Mckenzie & Alastair Boyd are our Churchwardens.
They are responsible for the care and upkeep of our buildings and plant, for the ‘floor management’ during services, and are an important part of our care team. They also represent Hillside within the wider church.
Lina Beck is one of our 'Readers' (licenced lay minister whithin the Church of England). Lina is involved in and organising the first part of our 10:10 service at All Saints Lobley Hill and also First Sunday and the 3@5 service at St Cuthbert's, Marley Hill. She is a lively and challenging preacher.
We are an official ‘Shared Ministry Parish’ – and we are committed to every member ministry.
