We were delighted to read out the following announcement at our service this morning.
“Bishop Mark is pleased to announce that the Revd Glen MacKnight currently curate in the Parish of Herrington, Shiney Row and Penshaw has been appointed as the next Vicar of Hillside. We are exploring the possibility of 12th December as an institution date. Please pray for Glen and his wife Janice as they prepare to move to Hillside.”
This is an exciting development and we are looking forward with anticipation to the service on 12 December.
